Owego Over Ithaca

Owego 20, Ithaca 6: A.J. White scored once through the air and once on the ground to lead Owego (5-3) to a non-divisional home victory over Ithaca (1-7).

White caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Dan Brainard with 11 seconds remaining in the first half, and Colin Lounsberry's PAT kick gave the Indians the lead for good, 7-6 lead over the Little Red.

Ithaca scored first, taking the ball 28 yards on eight plays to set up a 17-yard touchdown pass from Garrett Venuto with nine minutes left in the first half for a 6-0 Little Red lead.

The Indians scored twice in a 3 1/2-minute span in the final period.

Jake Burdick's interception gave Owego possession at Ithaca's 32. Andy Race's 1-yard drive with 7:30 left capped a 32-yard drive.

On the their next possession, the Indians capped the scoring with White's 5-yard run with about four minutes remaining. White had a 50-yard run in the scoring drive.
